North Oakland's New Pop-Up Store

Honestly, I haven't been to it yet but I love the concept and the reviews are favorable. This is right around the corner from Children's Hospital.  It usually pop's up on the 3rd Wednesday.  some of the reviews are below.  Maybe I'll see you there!

Celebrity Sightings (Brad, Anjolina, Philip) in Berkeley and Oakland!!

I've been told by those in the know that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are currently staying at the Claremont Hotel.  Not only that but Philip Seymour Hoffman has been seen the past two days at Bittersweet  Cafe at 5427 College Ave. He's been showing up mid afternoon.

August 8:  Looking at the US Farm Bill:  Navina Moon
August 15:  Cooking from the garden: Joy Moore, will offer a demonstration of ways to enjoy the gift of fresh homemade quick and economical and nutritious meals
August 22: Beekeeping:  khaled Almaghari will be sharing techniques for setting up anhive and maintaining it naturally.  he will be bringning in a small colony for a live demonstration and raw honey in the comb to sample

If its in the Chronicle it has to be true, right?  Well it is.... in black and white.
